How to Preserve Peaches: 4 Ways to Keep Them Fresh for Longer

There are several ways to preserve peaches and keep them fresh. You can put them in a fruit bowl for a few days, wrapping them in paper or leaving them to breathe. Or you can store them in the refrigerator or even the freezer, after peeling them, cutting them into pieces, and placing them in an airtight bag.

Orange, juicy, and sweet:  peaches  (regular, nut, or snuffbox) are among the most beloved fruits. But how best to store them? First, choose peaches at the market based on your taste: firm if you like them more  unripe,  soft if you like them  riper  and sweeter.

You can also keep them in a fruit bowl on the kitchen table, but remember they’ll only last a few days. You can also wrap them in paper or leave them out in the open. If you don’t want them “out there,” you can store them in the  refrigerator  or even the  freezer . Just cut them into pieces and place them in special containers.

Another effective (and tasty) method is to make them  in syrup . Then place them in a container with water and sugar.

Let’s look at these methods in more detail.
