1 orange
1/4 cup milk
100 gm butter (softened)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp cocoa powder
Cut orange into small pieces, remove seeds, and blend with milk until smooth. Keep aside.
In a bowl, whisk butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, vanilla, and orange paste, mix well.
Sift in flour, baking powder, and baking soda, then fold gently into a smooth batter.
Separate a small portion of batter, mix in cocoa powder.
Grease a 7-inch mould and line with baking paper.
Pour half of the orange batter, then cocoa batter, then remaining orange batter.
Swirl gently with a spoon to create the marble effect.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 30–40 minutes.
Let it cool before slicing and serving.
