Situation analysis

D is stuck at the bottom of the slope, with only his head sticking out. Next to him, a seesaw supports another stone, further increasing its weight. Sharp points threaten C, who is just below the highest point of this seesaw. B and A are positioned further to the side. The question is simple: if E pushes the stone, who will die first?

Solution to the puzzle: Click on the next page

Ignore the lines on the ground that seem to complicate the scene. D will be the first victim, as the stone isn’t positioned to spare his head. Then, the force of the stone tips the seesaw downward, and C is impaled on the spikes. The swinging motion lifts the other stone, which eventually rolls onto B. The order of death is therefore: D, C, then B.
