The most common cancer in women is breast cancer. Its symptoms can vary from person to person. Some women experience no signs or symptoms at all.
Some warning signs of breast cancer are:
- Pain in any part of the breast.
- Nipple retraction or pain in that area.
- A new lump in the breast or armpit.
- Any change in the size or shape of the breast.
- Nipple discharge; I’m not referring to milk; this discharge can even be blood.
- Redness or flaking in the breast or nipple area.
- Irritation or dimpling of the breast skin.
- Increased thickness or swelling in a part of the breast.
